All government schools in Tasmania are required to have a School Association.

The Association provides parents, staff and members of the community with a voice and an opportunity to be involved in important issues relating to the school.  All parents and staff are automatically members of the School Association, unless they specifically opt out.

The School Association Committee is an elected group of School Association members.  They are a representative group whose role is administrative and decision making.  Elections are held each year in November and meetings are held regularly throughout the year.

All parents are welcome to attend meetings however only the committee have voting rights.
