It is a requirement that all students attending a state school in Prep to Year 10 wear a school uniform. The wearing of a school uniform at Edith Creek Primary is also endorsed and supported by the School Association. It has been found that the wearing of a school uniform brings with it several benefits, including:
- Promotes a shared sense of school identity helping students feel like they belong in their school
- Ensures students are dressed in appropriate protective and sun safe clothing for school activities
- Assists school staff and the community to easily identify school students both inside and outside of school grounds
- Encourages students to take pride in their appearance and be prepared for workplace expectations
- Strengthens the profile and identity of the school and its students within the broader community
- Minimises cost and increase convenience for parents
Our Uniform
Our uniform can be purchased through the school at cost price and on the QKR! App. Clean second hand items are also available. Uniform order forms are sent out in third term so ordering can be done for the next school year. Spare uniform items are available at the school throughout the year. Hats
Hats are part of the school uniform and children are required to wear one in Term 1 and 4 and occasionally in Term 2 & 3 when UV ratings are above 3.
